        <description>FOSS4G 2024 | State of deegree: Server-side open source software for spatial data infrastructures and the geospatial web "The OSGeo project deegree is open source software for spatial data infrastructures (SDI) and the geospatial web, which mainly focuses on the server-side. It implements standards of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and the ISO Technical Committee 211. The project provides 9 official Reference Implementations of OGC Standards such as GML, WFS, WMS, and OGC API - Features. This talk will give an overview of the latest stable release of deegree (3.5) as well as the recent developments of version 3.6 that provides support of Java 17 and Tomcat 10. Additionally, the deegree implementation of the OGC API - Features standard will be presented. At last, the future directions and planned core developments of the project will be presented.
