<description>Last year HOT was among more than 100 organizations that were chosen to be part of the Audacious project, this project will help the organization to focus in 94 countries which are suffering diverse challenges and 1 billion people live in these regions. Adding this as Open Data can help to bring them out of poverty and create projects to have a better future. Humanitarian OpenStreetMap has been an active organization since 2010, the focus is mapping in areas in the one there is a natural, political, economical crisis. Since last year with the Audacious grant, there is an opportunity to escalate the project and enforce local communities to have long-term impact. In this talk I would like to share the five year plan that will support the goal mentioned previously of mapping 1 billion people located in 94 countries facing different challenges.
