Here, we will focus on the support for converting from ArcGIS styles to open formats like OpenLayers and QGIS styles, and thereby lowering the barrier of getting out of a vendor lock-in of geospatial software. We will also talk about the potential of GeoStyler as an ad-hoc converter of styles in combination with the new OGC API. Future plans, such as becoming an official OSGeo project, as well as upcoming events will be presented as well.
