<description>Superset is one of the most used open source tools for business intelligence (BI) and currently the most starred Github project of the Apache Software Foundation. We extended Superset with support for thematic maps that allows for the analysis of spatio-temporal processes. In this talk, we will demonstrate how cartodiagrams, choropleth maps, as well as proportional symbol maps can be created in Superset and how they contribute to an advanced analysis of spatio-temporal processes. We will also talk about future plans for additional geospatial features in Superset, such as geospatial filters and data sources.
